NHH's prize for excellent research dissemination was established in 2011 and will be awarded every third year. In 2011 the award went to Professors Thore Johnsen and Victor D. Norman.
"The award was established as recognition of how important good knowledge dissemination is for both society at large and NHH. We wish to honour excellent NHH-dissemination and, even more importantly, stimulate more and ground breaking dissemination in economics and business administration," says Vice Rector for Research and leader of the jury, Professor Helge Thorbjørnsen.
The other members are Professor Leif Sandal, Associate Professor Marita Kristiansen, new Aftenposten-editor Trine Eilertsen, Bergens Tidende's Editor in chief, Gard Steiro, student Henny Marie Fløystad and Head of Communications, Kristin Risvand Mo.
The jury will base their judgement on a broad definition of knowledge dissemination. For instance, candidates for the award may have contributed to strengthening NHH's knowledge dissemination in general, reached groups outside academia or used new tools to communicate their research and knowledge.
"Now it is up to our faculty and staff to propose candidates or apply for the award. We have many researchers who are brilliant at research dissemination, and this is an excellent way of acknowledging the important work that they do," says Thorbjørnsen.
Deadline for proposals is 25 June.
Proposals must present a reason for why a candidate should receive the award.
Send the proposal to kommunikasjon@nhh.no
