During April and May 2013, students and staff will elect a rector, deputy rector and members to the board at NHH. You must be on the electoral register to vote at the elections.

All employees are asked to check that they are on the correct register. The staff registers are published at the bottom of this article.

The student register will be available at the Student Information Center.

The electoral register is held by the administration. If you have questions or believe that there is an error in the register, please contact Andreas Hjortland.

The electoral register is divided in four groups:

• Permanent academic staff / tenured staff
• Temporary academic staff
• Technical and administrative staff
• Students

If you belong to more than one group, the order of the list above will decide which electoral register you are on. If you for instance hold a PhD position and at the same time are registered as a student, you will only be on the temporary academic staff electoral register.

To be on the student electoral register, you must be registered for the semester and have paid the semester fee within the deadline.

The requirements to be eligible to vote as staff are that

• you hold at least a 50 percent position
• you were employed by 1 February 2013
• you hold a permanent position, or a temporary position of at least one year, or have been continuously employed for at least one year at the time of the elections

You may file a complaint about the electoral register to the Election Board. The complaint must be sent to Andreas Hjortland and should include the reason for the complaint. The deadline for complaints is two weeks before the election day.

The Election Board will provide further information on the elections soon.
