Professor Trond E Olsen at the Department of Business and Management Science has been elected to the Executive Committee of the European Association for Research in Industrial Economics (EARIE).

EARIE was founded in 1974 to provide a professional society for academics and practitioners with an interest in the field of Industrial Economics.

Professor Olsen has been elected as an Administrator on EARIEs Executive Committee for the period 2013-2015.

The Committee's members come from a wide range of research institutions, mainly in Europe. Among their responsibilities are EARIE's annual conference and the organizations journal, International Journal of Industrial Organization.
