Position as Professor/Associate professor in HRM and research methods

The Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) invites applications for a position as Professor/Associate Professor in human resource management (HRM) and research methods, at the Department of Strategy and Management.

The department is engaged in a variety of research and teaching activities. The department wishes to strengthen its capacity within the areas of human resource management and research methods.

We are seeking applicants with a strong research competence in HRM areas such as employment relations, allocation, development and evaluation of human resources at the individual, group and organizational levels. Furthermore, we are seeking applicants with a firm grounding in research methods including research design and qualitative and quantitative methods.

The applicant is expected to provide teaching in HRM and research methods at all levels although the main teaching responsibility is at master and Ph.D. level courses.

For a position as Professor/Associate Professor, a doctoral degree or its equivalent is required. Applicants may be required to meet for an interview or to give a trial lecture or a seminar. The appointee may be required to enrol in a pedagogical course of short duration.

Salary is negotiable according to the State Salary Scale for Professor or Associate Professor. NHH offers favourable membership in the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund, generous research funds for travelling and conference participation, and bonus systems for publication in international refereed journals.

In the event of equivalent qualifications, female applicants will be given preference.
