Lars Christian Bruno, Svein Olav Krakstad, Jan Vidar Håtuft and Alexander Madsen Sandvik are new scholarship recipients at NHH.

The Department of Strategy and Management received two new research scholars, while the Department of Finance and Management Science and the Department of Economics each received one respectively.

At the Department of Economics, Lars Christian Bruno is a newly appointed research scholar. His main advisor is Stig Tenold, and Bruno is going to write on differences in technological attainment among countries comprising the East Asian growth economies. Bruno finished his master degree at NHH in spring 2006.

Svein Olav Krakstad has recently begun at the Department of Finance and Management Science. Krakstad wishes to write on asset pricing, and has Tommy Stamland as his advisor. Krakstad has both a bachelor and a master degree from NHH.

Jan Vidar Håtuft is employed at the Department of Strategy and Management, and professor Anna Mette Fuglseth has been appointed his advisor. The topic for Håtuft's thesis is measuring the effects of ITC on management decisions. Håtuft is an IT engineer from Bergen University College (HiB), and has for the last five years worked in NHH's IT department while at the same time taking a master degree.

Alexander Madsen Sandvik is also employed at the Department of Strategy and Management. In his thesis he wishes to examine why some leaders have the ability to gain the little extra from employees when needed, and how leaders motivate and inspire their employees to new goals. Willy Haukedal is Sandvik's advisor. Like Håtuft, Sandvik also has an IT education from HiB and a master degree from NHH.
