The Haim Falk Award 2014 to Ole-Kristian Hope
Ole-Kristian Hope has received the Haim Falk award 2014. Among the criterias for receiving the award we find that "the body of work should have an impact on further research or positive developments in accounting"

The jury decided to give Hope the prize among other things because of his "astounding research record that includes publishing 19 articles in journals appearing on the influential Financial Times list of leading management journals".
CAAA journal (Canada Academic Accounting Association) gives the prize once a year to persons or groups who contributes to stimulate scholarly thinking and research in Canada by giving widespread recognition to excellence in scholarly achievement that clearly contributes to the advancement of accounting thought.
Hope holds a Master`s degree from NHH. He is the Deloitte Professor, Professor of Accounting, and the PhD Coordinator in Accounting at Rotman. He is also teaching and supervising PhD-students at NHH.
