NHH-student died

NHH has received the sad news that student Tarjei Drangsland (24) was found dead after a falling accident in the city centre of Bergen Sunday 6 April. The flag at NHH will be at half-mast Wednesday 9 April to honour the memory of Tarjei.

Tarjei Drangsland (24) was a bachelor student at NHH, and took up his studies at NHH in August 2013. Tarjei came from Lier in Buskerud, Norway. He was an active member of the Student Association. Enquiries has shown that nothing criminal has happened connected to this accident.

The Aula at NHH will be open Tuesday afternoon from 5 pm to 7.30 pm for those who wish to come together in rememberance of Tarjei.

The flag at NHH is at half-mast Wednesday to honour the memory of Tarjei, and a remembrance table with a book of condolences will be set up in the foyer outside the Information Centre.

Wednesday at 13.00 there will be a rememberance in the Aula for students and employees at NHH. The doors will open at 12.45. The rememberance is not open for the press.

In addition NHH would like to remind students and employees that there is a "quiet" room available in the corridor to the left of NHH's main entrance that can be used by everyone.

NHH wishes to express grief over Tarjei Drangsland's death and sympathy and compassion for all those involved.
