Pedagogical Hour: Supervision of master theses

The Pedagogical Committee invites staff and students to Pedagogical Hour on Tuesday 27 October.

12.10.2015 - Marianne Eskeland

Our students have high expectations concerning their thesis supervision. What challenges does being a supervisor pose? Do we have a common understanding of what supervision entails? What is it like to be both the supervisor and internal examiner? What is the institute's role in supervision?

The Pedagogical Committee has invited, among others, a senior supervisor and two junior supervisors to share their experiences.

There will be discussion afterwards in which participants may exchange views, give advice, and share tips on what can be a good supervisory process.

Time: 10:15 - 11:30
Venue: Karl Borch Auditorium
