Lengthy effort with good evaluations
Professor Aasmund Eilifsen won this year's award for excellence in teaching.

Eilifsen has been a central member of the auditing faculty for many years, and has taught many large and central courses in the field. He has received good evaluations and demonstrated exceptional pedagogical skills over many years.
The Award for excellence in teaching is based on a broad judgment, but gives special emphasis to communication and pedagogical skills, ability to create interest and present the subject matter from different perspectives and innovation and creativity.
Professor Eilifsen has been program director for the Master's degree in Accounting and Auditing for many years and have "made an outstanding contribution to the program with regard to developing the curriculum, running the program and recruiting and coordinating lectures", says the prize committee.
"It's a big inspiration to receive this award. We are fortunate who get to work with gifted and dedicated students and the contact with the students is the best part of working at NHH", Eilifsen said in this speech at the matriculation ceremony.
The Award for excellence in teaching is 16 000 NOK and a serigraphy.
The jury: head of PBU, Kjetil Bjorvatn head of PMU, Kenneth Fjell, head of FFF Helge Thorbjørnsen and the students Martin Hoang Nguyen, Marianne Larsen and Henny Marie Fløystad.
