US President Barack Obama has appointed NHH Adjunct Professor and CELE research affiliate Sandra E. Black to join the three-member White House Council of Economic Advisers.

The Council of Economic Advisers

The Council of Economic Advisers is an agency within the Executive Office of the American President. The Council is charged with offering the President objective economic advice on the formulation of both domestic and international economic policy. The Council bases its recommendations and analysis on economic research and empirical evidence, using the best data available to support the President in setting the American economic policy.

The Center for Empirical Labor Economics at NHH

CELE is The Center for Empirical Labor Economics at the Norwegian School of Economics. It fosters research on the multiple aspects of empirical labor economics, disseminates this research, and educates bachelor, master and PhD students.
