New Assistant Professor

Assistant professor Konrad Raff from Germany has joined the Department of Finance.

Raff is coming from a position as Assistant Professor at the Department of Finance in VU University Amsterdam, where he had been working since 2011. He finished his PhD in Economics at Toulouse School of Economics in 2010, and was Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute for Financial Research (SIRF) in Stockholm in 2009-2011.

He spent some time last year visiting NHH, and liked it.

"I am very excited about joining NHH. The finance department offers great conditions to do research. And the atmosphere in the group is very pleasant and friendly", says Raff

He is going to do research in corporate governance. His research on how government honors to CEOs affects their behavior and firm performance, was in May covered on the front page of Financial Times.
