Deadline for the Fund for Applied Research

1 October is the final deadline for applications for funding from the Fund for Applied Research. Anyone at NHH may apply.

The SNF Foundation administers the Fund for Applied Research, which consists of accumulated funds from SNF activities. About NOK 1 million is allocated annually.

"The objective of the fund is to benefit the entire NHH community. We have the impression that it's often the same people who apply, but any research at NHH is eligible for funding," said the SNF Foundation chairman, Professor Lars Mathiesen.

One can apply for funding for e.g. travel expenses, support to complete scientific papers for project-funded researchers and the organisation of conferences and workshops.

"The funding may also enable international researchers to be invited to NHH. Last year, a number of conferences were held with support from the fund," added Mathiesen.

In addition to the 1 October deadline, applications for funding are also accepted on 1 February and 1 June.
