Autumn hiking trip and official opening of new Småbruket kitchens
The Cabin committee cordially invites staff to join this year's autumn hike and to the official opening of the newly refurbished kitchens at Småbruket on Saturday 6 September. Save the date!

This year's autumn hiking trip will take us to Fitjadalen, a short 30 minute drive from Kvamskogen.
The route promises an easy hike in a verdant valley, with lots of cultural history, and is suitable for most people.
The hike starts at Krossnes and goes up to Døgnope, where there is a good shelter under an overhanging rock face and a hearth if anyone feels inspired to make coffee or pancakes over an open fire.
The route carries on to Sælessete, a former summer pasture, where a table and benches have been set up for weary travellers.
From there the hike continues to Skisete and down to the road at Ørdalsfossen waterfall.
45th anniversary
After the hiking trip, the party will retire to Småbruket where a warm cabin, hot showers and sauna await. Dinner and refreshments will be served and the cabin's 45th anniversary in NHH's service will be celebrated.
An overnight stay at Småbruket and the opportunity to go for a shorter hike in the local area on the Sunday will round off the trip.
New kitchens ready
After many hours of hard work by many volunteers are the new kitchens ready at Småbruket. Scandinavian design and economical thinking come together in the new IKEA kitchens, with built-in induction hobs, electric ovens and dishwashers.
The Cabin Committee will mark this auspicious occasion in the history of Småbruket with an official opening for the new kitchens after the autumn hiking trip.
The price for the trip is 450 kr, including transport, food and drink.
The deadline for registering interest in the trip is 3 September.
