Ole Hope to Business Region Bergen

Managing director Ole Hope leaves NHH to become managing director at Business Region Bergen (BRB), starting from 1 August, 2013.

"I have had three eventful and challenging years at NHH. I leave with a heavy heart, but when this possibility appeared, I found that the time was right," says Ole Hope.

Hope was hired as managing director in September 2010. He received his PhD at NHH in the spring of 2010 and a left a position as organizational and strategy director at Hansa Borg Breweries to join the specialized university.

"Ole Hope is an experienced leader with ambitious goals. I regret his departure from NHH, but respect the choice he has made. I wish Ole good luck in a new, exciting position," says Rector and Chairman of the Board at NHH, Jan I. Haaland.
