Argentum Centre Calls for Research Proposals

The NHH Argentum Centre for Private Equity invites applications for funding of up to NOK 30,000 for Private Equity related research projects. All researchers affiliated with NHH are welcome to apply.

The NHH Argentum Centre for Private Equity aims to support research for private equity projects related to the following areas:

• Venture Capital
• (Leveraged) Buyouts
• Buy and Build Strategies
• Initial Public Offerings
• Mergers and Acquisitions and the financing of growth companies.

Researchers affiliated to NHH can apply for funding of up to NOK 30,000 to cover:

• travel expenses related to work with co-authors or presentation of papers at conferences. Funding is also available in special circumstances, for the discussion of PE related papers at conferences.
• the purchase of data or equipment
• the employment of research assistants for projects.

Relevant applications should be written in English and should include:

- a brief description of the project

- the amount applied for, as well as an indicative budget

- a short CV for the individual researcher applying for the funds

The Centre's Scientific Committee will evaluate applications based on potential contribution to the existing literature.

There is no deadline for applications submitted to the Centre.
