New Recruitment Website for NHH's PhD Programme

As part of the effort to strengthen recruitment to NHH's PhD studies The programme committee for the PhD programme now launches a new website.

"The target for the new website is primarily our own bachelor and master's students, but NHH alumni and international students are also important to reach," says Dean of NHH's PhD programme, Professor Helge Thorbjørnsen.

"The main aim for the site is to strengthen the knowledge about our PhD studies, as it turns out that our own students know little about the programme. By presenting the stories and backgrounds of current and former PhD students, we hope to convey what a great programme this actually is, and show what a vast number of career opportunities it gives in business, the public sector and academia," he continues.

"In many ways NHH's PhD programme has remained a well kept secret. And if our students have been aware of it, their knowledge has been based more on myths and old prejudices than updated knowledge. We are now trying to correct this step by step, and the new website is one of our tools," Thorbjørnsen concludes.

In addition to a presentation of the PhD programme through a mix of individual stories and facts, potential students can find admission requirements and other details concerning applications.

The next deadline for applications to NHH's PhD programme is 1 February 2012.
