Job opening: Assistant Professor
NHH invites applications for a position as Assistant Professor of Finance in the Department of Finance.

NHH's Department of Finance is looking to add junior faculty members with an internationally competitive research agenda. Candidates should have a strong research record or potential, as demonstrated by existing working papers or a dissertation, and ideally by publications in top-tier finance journals. The school primarily seeks applicants with a degree from a high-quality international institution. We have a preference for applicants with an interest in the area of empirical asset pricing, but will consider all candidates within financial economics.
Applicants should have completed, or be close to completing, a PhD in finance or a related field. Emphasis will be placed on the applicant's research profile and his/her fit with and ability to contribute to the existing research environment. In the event of equivalent qualifications, female applicants will be given preference.
In addition to research, the position will involve some teaching and supervision of master students. The duration of the contract is 4 years. Salary will be negotiable according to the Norwegian State Salary Scale LR 24, alt. 17.
