Remember the new tax deduction card

Please note that new tax deduction cards for 2009 must be handed in to the Finance and Accounting Office by 31st January, 2009. For those who do not meet this deadline the February salary will be taxed at 50 %.

It is possible that foreign citizens who have moved to Norway may not automatically be sent a tax card from the tax authorities. Should this be the case you must make a special application for a tax card. This can be done via Internet at the following address: skatteetaten.no
