Position as Associate Professor in Management
The Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) in Bergen, Norway, invites applications for a tenured position as Associate Professor in Management, at the Department of Strategy and Management.

The department is engaged in a variety of research and teaching activities. Many of these apply and relate to leadership and organizational behavior. Examples are: conflict management and negotiation, team development and management, psychological contracts, change and change management, work motivation, and decision behavior. The department wishes to strengthen its capacity within the area of organizational behavior, and the applicant is expected to provide teaching in Organizational behavior and leadership at all levels. The position's main responsibility of teaching is, however, introductory level courses of organizational behavior at the bachelor level. Therefore, applicants with a firm grounding in the basics of the field are encouraged. At the bachelor level compulsory courses are mainly taught in Norwegian. Therefore it is a requirement for the position to be able to speak one of the Scandinavian languages.
For a position as Associate Professor, a doctoral degree or its equivalent is required. Applicants may be required to meet for an interview or to give a trial lecture or a seminar. The appointee may be required to enroll in a pedagogical course of short duration.
Salary will be negotiable according to the State Salary Scale for the position as Associate Professor (code 1011). NHH offers favourable membership in the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund, generous research funds for travelling and conference participation, and bonus systems for publication in international refereed journals.
