The Prime Minister of Iceland holds a lecture at NHH

On Monday 22 January, Iceland's Prime Minister, Geir H. Haarde, will be visiting NHH. The business educated statesman will give an open lecture entitled, Norwegian-Icelandic cooperation in a new time.

Prime Minister Geir H. Haarde's lecture begins at 11:15 and ends at 12:00. The lecture will be held in Jan Mossins Auditorium, and is open to all who are interested.
Haarde (born 1951) represents the Independence Party. He has been a member of the Icelandic Parliament since 1987 and was elected Prime Minister in June 2006.
The Prime Minister has two master degrees: an economics degree from the University of Minnesota (1977), a degree in international relations from John Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies (1975).
