NHH reaccredited by EQUIS
NHH received praise for competent students and a strong research environment. This complementary evaluation comes from the international quality body, EQUIS, which recently accredited NHH for five more years.

With the EQUIS hallmark, NHH is in the company of approximately 90 business schools and universities around the world. The first time NHH became EQUIS-accredited was in 2001.
"This makes us extremely happy", says a satisfied Deputy Rector Gunnar E. Christensen, who is responsible for international issues relating to NHH.
"In today's sharp international competition it is very important to have a hallmark which shows that NHH is among the leading business schools in the world. Accreditation is a must if one wishes to recruit good students and researchers in an international market."
Strong International Position
EQUIS describes NHH as an extremely good educational institution and stresses that the academic level of NHH's students and its research standards are of international class. EQUIS emphasises the strength of NHH's international orientation and the high quality of the school's cooperative partners.
The quality check of NHH is comprehensive. Strategy, leadership, students, programme quality, research, arrangements, internationalisation, and the school's role in society are among the areas evaluated by EQUIS.
"We have been evaluated based on 85 points in accordance with an international standard established by EQUIS. Meeting each criteria is not easy and there is a lot of work which goes behind the accreditation. We have every reason to be satisfied and look at this as providing a good basis and motivation for developing the study programmes, research, and our international activities further", says Christensen.
Facts:
EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) is an international system for quality assurance, improvement, and accreditation for educational institutions within business and administration with the objective of raising the standard of this type of education.
The accreditation process, itself, consists of a self evaluation with comprehensive documentation and a three day visit of the EQUIS committee with representatives from corresponding institutions in Cambridge, Auckland and Helsinki, together with an evaluation report from EQUIS, together constituting the basis for the final accreditation.
