Position as Full Professor/Associate Professor in International Marketing

The Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) in Bergen, Norway, invites applications for a tenured position as Full Professor or Associate Professor in International Marketing.

The position will involve teaching of international marketing and related marketing topics in NHH's study programmes at all levels (bachelor, master, executive master, doctoral), as well as some additional supervising of masters and PhD students. NHH is strongly dedicated to research. Applicants should have a strong research record in international marketing as demonstrated by publications, dissertations and research reports, ideally by publications in first rate journals. Applicants with a research interest in inter-organizational relations such as international distribution, international B2B relationships, and international marketing strategy are particularly welcome.

For a position as Associate Professor, a doctoral degree or its equivalent is required. Applicants may be required to meet for an interview or to give a trial lecture or a seminar. The appointee may be required to enroll in a pedagogical course of short duration.

Salary will be negotiable according to the State Salary Scale for the position as Full Professor (code 1013) or Associate Professor (code 1011). NHH offers favourable membership in the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund, generous research funds for travelling and conference participation, and bonus systems for publication in international refereed journals.

In the event of equivalent qualifications, female applicants will be given preference.

If no qualified applicants as Full Professor emerge, the Academic Employment Committee can appoint one of the applicants on a temporary basis for up to 3 years, in accordance with regulations.
