- Vi må skjerpe oss

- Rangeringen i Financial Times viser at vi må skjerpe oss på NHH forskningsmessig, ikke minst med tanke på internasjonal publisering, sier rektor Jan I. Haaland til Paraplyen.

- Rangeringen er en spore til å forbedre oss med hensyn til å publisere mer i internasjonalt anerkjente tidsskrift, sier Haaland om den for NHH noe nedslående målingen fra Financial Times.

Financial Times rangerer handelshøyskolene i Europa forskningsmessig etter en liste på 40 internasjonale tidsskrift.

Disse er foreslått av de deltakende handelshøyskolene enten som forskningstidsskrift eller brukerrettede tidsskrift. 20 av tidsskriftene overlapper med forslaget til revidert liste over tidsskrift som gir publikasjonsbonus på NHH.

9 artikler ga utteling
Av totalt 9 artikler som NHH fikk uttelling for i FTs rangering, er over halvparten produsert ved Institutt for strategi og ledelse, 2 ved Institutt for samfunnsøkonomi og 2 ved Institutt for foretaksøkonomi. Ingen av SOL-artiklene gir publikasjonsbonus på NHH.

- Det jobbes med å forbedre forskningen og publiseringen av forskningsresultatene ved NHH. Det er allerede grunn til å tro at høyskolen vil komme bedre ut i senere rangeringer av denne typen, men vi kan og bør bli enda bedre, sier Haaland.

Han minner om at våre tildelinger over statsbudsjettet heretter vil variere med graden av publisering i vitenskapelige tidsskrift rangert av Universitets- og høyskolerådet.
