Position of Associate Professor
The Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration, Department of Strategy and Management invites applications for the position of Associate Professor in organization and management.

The field of organisation covers organisational psychology, organisation theory and human resource management (HRM). Preference will be given to applicants qualified within the field of organisational psychology or organisation theory and who in addition have produced scholarly works within the field of HRM that are relevant to business enterprises.

The appointee must comply with the guidelines that apply to the position at any time. The teaching language will be both English and Norwegian. The appointee may also be required to enroll in a pedagogical course of short duration.
Salary will be according to the State Salary Scale 54 (currently NOK 368,800, corresponding to approximately € 42,500) A higher salary may be negotiated, depending on the candidate's qualifications and on the school's salary policy. The maximum salary is on Scale 75 (currently NOK 546,000, corresponding to approximately € 62,500). From the salary a 2% deduction will be made as pension contribution to the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund.
A Norwegian doctorate degree or its equivalent is required.
The application should contain details of the applicant's scientific and pedagogical education and work experience. The application and enclosed documentation, including a maximum of ten research papers (published or unpublished) and a complete list of the papers, must be submitted in four copies.
In accordance with a personnel policy aim that the composition of the staff should reflect the make-up of the general population of the country, with respect to both sex and cultural diversity, women and people from ethnic minority backgrounds are particularly invited to apply.
In the event of equivalent qualifications, female applicants will be given preference.
If no qualified applicants can be found, the Appointments Committee can appoint one of the applicants on a temporary basis for up to 3 years on the condition that the person in question has, in the opinion of the Appointments Committee, sufficient background in order to be able to obtain the necessary qualifications during the period of appointment.
