HEC-professor visits NHH

Professor Jean-Paul Larcon will be spending part of his sabbatical period at NHH this spring.

Larcon is at HEC School of Management in France (the leading French business school) where he is also director of the International Management Specialization, and scientific advisor for the Eastern and Central Europe Centre. He was Dean of HEC from 1982 until 1989. Larcon was one of the founders of CEMS and holds a position as honorary member in the CEMS-network.

Larcon will be at NHH during weeks 5, 9 and 13. During this time he will be teaching a course in Corporate Strategy in Emerging Countries, which reflects his current fields of interest in international strategic management and strategic change as well as his wide experience in international assignments. Professor Jean-Paul Larcon, en av grunnleggerne av Community of European Management Schools (CEMS) faglig leder ved HEC School of Management i Frankrike, er nå gjesteforeleser ved NHH. Han vil bruke tre av sine forskningsfri-uker her, noe vår fagstab er svært fornøyde med. Han forteller til Paraplyen at han aldri har vært verken i Bergen eller på NHH før, og er spent på mottakelsen han får blant studentene med sine forelesninger.
