Abstract
Jan Edman from Stockholm School of Economics presents the research design and the results of his study on Information Use in Decision
Making. He has studied the decisions of firms on an experimental oligopoly market, where the firms competing on the same market have
received different amounts of infor-mation about the market and the competing firms. The different decisions are compared in-between and also to the optimal decisions in the market. Since the market model was more complex than models commonly used for experiments Jan also shows how he calculated the optimal decisions in the market. Furthermore, descriptions are given of some characteristics of the decision and the decision making of the firms on the experimental market.
